What Psychic Source Is Known For

Psychic Source has been in operation since 1989, one of the longest-running services in the U.S. It describes a screening process of “multiple test readings, background verification, and detailed assessment,” says only 2% of psychics are accepted, and offers readings by phone, chat and video. Two features stand out: a price-protection policy that locks a reader’s rate if you book again within 30 days (45 days for members), and a guarantee that a disappointing last paid reading is free.

People compare alternatives for a few reasons:

• Seeing each reader’s full history. On Kasamba, Purple Garden and Keen, profiles show total readings, years on the platform and thousands of client reviews.
• Free or near-free first minutes with any reader, rather than a discounted rate on a first purchase.
• A permanent written record of chat readings.
• A video-first experience with intro videos on profiles.
• App experience. Purple Garden, Keen and Kasamba each hold 4.6–4.8 on the App Store with thousands of ratings.
