Which welcome offer is worth the most?
Per-minute rates differ between platforms, which can hide how generous each offer is. Put every platform on the same rate ($4.99/min, the median across all 242 advisors we audited) and the offers can be compared on their own. The cheapest first reading at each length is in bold.
| First reading at $4.99/min | Kasamba | Purple Garden | Mysticsense | Keen | SpiritualBlossom |

What each offer takes off the full price, at the same $4.99/min:
| Welcome offer | Off a 10-min reading | Off a 20-min reading | Off a 45-min reading |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kasamba: 3 free minutes + 50% off | $32.43 | $57.38 | $64.97 |
| Purple Garden: $30 free credit | $30.00 | $30.00 | $30.00 |
| Mysticsense: 5 free minutes | $15.00 | $15.00 | $15.00 |
| Keen: 5 minutes for $1 | $23.95 | $23.95 | $23.95 |
| SpiritualBlossom: up to $25 bonus credit | $10.00 | $10.00 | $10.00 |
What the tables show:
- Kasamba's offer grows with the reading. The 3 free minutes are followed by 50% off, and the discount keeps adding up until it reaches $50, at about 23 minutes at $4.99/min. From 10 minutes on it beats Purple Garden's credit, and from 7 minutes on it beats Keen's $1 offer.
- Purple Garden's $30 credit is the best value for a short first reading. At $4.99/min it covers the first six minutes in full, and with a budget-tier reader a 10-minute question can cost nothing beyond the minimum first purchase.
- Keen's 5 minutes for $1 is a low-cost test. Its whole value lands in the first five minutes, which makes it ideal for trying one specific reader before a longer session.
- Mysticsense and SpiritualBlossom have smaller offers but the lowest typical rates of the five, so for a long reading they can still come out cheapest overall; the calculator shows exactly where.
How far does your budget go?
Minutes of a first reading at each platform's typical rate, welcome offer applied:
| Platform | Typical rate | $20 | $50 | $100 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kasamba | $4.99/min | 11 min | 23 min | 33 min |
| Purple Garden | $4.99/min | 10 min | 16 min | 26 min |
| Mysticsense | $2.17/min | 14 min | 28 min | 51 min |
| Keen | $6.53/min | 7 min | 12 min | 20 min |
| SpiritualBlossom | $1.98/min | 15 min | 30 min | 55 min |
SpiritualBlossom is modelled with a $20 first deposit and its $10 bonus; Mysticsense with a $15+ first deposit, so the first five minutes are credited back. Purple Garden asks for a first purchase (typically $10 or more) before the $30 credit applies; any unused balance stays in your account.
How long should a first reading be?
Length matters as much as rate, because each welcome offer rewards a different length. A practical guide:
- About 10 minutes is enough for one focused question, such as whether a connection is still there or how someone is feeling right now. Purple Garden's credit and Keen's $1 offer go furthest here.
- About 20 minutes gives room to share the background, hear the reading and ask follow-ups about one relationship or decision. This is where Kasamba's offer starts to pull ahead.
- 30 minutes or more suits a full tarot spread or several related questions. Kasamba's discount reaches its $50 maximum around the 23-minute mark at $4.99/min.
Whatever the length, have your question ready before you connect: the minutes you spend explaining the situation are minutes the reader isn't reading. Our guide to questions to ask and how to prepare help you get more from every minute.

How the calculator works
- Rates. "Typical" is the median listed rate and "budget" the 25th percentile (a quarter of advisors list this rate or less). For Kasamba, Purple Garden and Keen these come from the 242 advisors we audited individually; for Mysticsense and SpiritualBlossom from our October 2026 platform reviews. A listed rate is the lowest per-minute rate on an advisor's profile. See our methodology and the audit data.
- Offers. Kasamba: first 3 minutes free, then 50% off the paid minutes of that first reading, discount capped at $50. Purple Garden: $30 off the first reading's cost. Keen: $1 for the first 5 minutes, then the advisor's rate. Mysticsense: first 5 minutes credited back, up to $15. SpiritualBlossom: $10 bonus on a $20 first deposit.
- Not included: taxes, other promotions, and advisor-specific discounts. Offers change, so confirm the current terms when you sign up.
