The short answer: the best site for a live video psychic reading is Purple Garden: every advisor we audited there offers one-to-one video, every profile has a short intro video so you can see a reader before booking, and video rates start from about $2.49/min. Mysticsense is a lower-cost alternative where about a quarter of advisors offer video, and Kasamba has begun offering video calls with some advisors. Keen doesn’t offer video. On Purple Garden, video costs a median $3.25/min more than chat, but some readers charge less for video, which is the best deal in online readings if you like to see your reader.
| Rank | Site | Video availability | Typical video rate | See readers before booking | First-reading offer |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Purple Garden | All audited advisors | $7.99/min median (from $1.99) | Intro video on every profile | $30 credit |
| 2 | Mysticsense | About a quarter of advisors | Priced per advisor; typical overall rate $2.17/min | Profile photos | First 5 minutes credited back |
| 3 | Kasamba | Some advisors (new) | Varies (1 of 112 audited listed a video rate, $3.99) | Profile photos | 3 free minutes + 50% off |
| — | Keen | No video | — | — | 5 minutes for $1 |
Purple Garden and Kasamba figures from the 242 advisors we audited individually (data as of October 9, 2026); Purple Garden video rates from the 26 audited advisors who list a separate video price. Mysticsense from our October 2026 review of 1,034 public profiles (23% list call, chat and video). Kasamba’s video calls from its platform pages and help center, October 2026.
Why Choose a Video Reading?
- Connection. Many people read others by face and voice, and feel more at ease when they can see who they’re talking to.
- Transparency. You can watch your reader shuffle and lay out the cards, and see each card as it’s turned.
- Choosing well. On Purple Garden, every advisor’s intro video shows you their manner before you spend anything.
- It’s the closest thing to an in-person reading, without the travel.
The trade-offs: video usually costs more per minute than chat, you need a quiet, private space, and live video can’t be replayed (a written transcript may be available afterwards). If you want a full written record, chat is still best. See chat vs phone vs video readings.
The 3 Best Sites for Video Readings
#1 Purple Garden — Best Video Psychic Site
Purple Garden was built around video. In our audit, all 81 advisors offer live video, and every profile carries a 60-second intro video. The 26 advisors who list a separate video rate charge:
| Video rate measure (Purple Garden) | Value |
|---|---|
| Median video rate | $7.99/min |
| Range | $1.99 – $30/min |
| Advisors with video at $6.99/min or less | 12 of 26 |
| Advisors with video at $10/min or more | 10 of 26 |
| Median premium over the same reader’s chat rate | +$3.25/min |
The hidden deal: a few readers charge less for video than for chat. Psychic Kayla charges $2.49/min for video vs $4.99 for chat, and Ophelia $2.99 vs $4.49.
First reading: a $30 credit with your first purchase. That covers about 10 minutes of video with a $2.99/min reader, and makes a 20-minute video reading at the median $7.99/min cost $129.80. If a first session with a new advisor disappoints, Purple Garden adds up to $50 in credit within 7 days.
After the reading: live video can’t be replayed, but a written transcript of eligible video sessions may be available in Orders or Past Readings, and you can keep messaging your advisor afterwards.

#2 Mysticsense — Best Budget Alternative
Mysticsense prices call, chat and video separately for each advisor, and in our review of 1,034 public profiles 23% list all three formats, so video is available but not universal; check the advisor’s card for a video rate. Its overall typical rate is the lowest of the larger platforms ($2.17/min), and new customers get their first 5 minutes credited back.
Good to know: our Mysticsense review is based on public profile data rather than paid readings. After a reading, its refund remedy is time back of up to 10 minutes within 48 hours. More: Mysticsense review.
#3 Kasamba — Video Calls, Now With Some Advisors
Kasamba has long been chat-first, but its newer platform supports video calls with advisors who choose to offer them, and its help center now covers written transcripts of voice and video sessions. It’s early days: one of the 112 Kasamba advisors we audited, Psychic Tsahai, listed a video rate ($3.99/min, the same as chat). If video becomes more widespread there, Kasamba’s welcome offer (3 free minutes, then 50% off up to $50) would make it a strong value option.
What about SpiritualBlossom and Keen?
SpiritualBlossom, Mysticsense’s sister site, also offers video with some advisors. Keen is phone and chat only.

How to Get the Most From a Video Reading
- Watch the intro video first. It’s the best two minutes you’ll spend: you’ll know quickly whether a reader’s manner suits you.
- Find a quiet, private spot with good light and a stable connection. Headphones help.
- Have your question ready before you connect; video is billed per minute like chat.
- Ask the reader to show the cards as they draw them, and to name each one.
- Take a note of key points straight after, since live video can’t be replayed. Check for a written transcript in your past readings.
- Start with a short session. Ten minutes is enough to know whether to continue.
