The short answer: yes, you can get a psychic reading by email. On Kasamba, individual advisors sell email readings at a fixed price; in our audit they ranged from $10 a question to $70–$100 a reading. On Keen, the built-in Mail system lets you request a Mail reading, which most advisors price per question, and Keen’s satisfaction guarantee covers Mail readings for 72 hours after you receive them. Purple Garden lets you keep messaging advisors you’ve had a reading with, and Mysticsense offers readings by SMS as well as chat. For a single, focused question you’d like a considered written answer to, email is an excellent format.
| Site | How it works | Typical price | Protection |
|---|---|---|---|

| Keen | Mail readings through Keen Mail; Paid Mail lets you send payment with your question or pay to view a reply | Usually per question, set by the advisor | Satisfaction Guarantee within 72 hours of receiving the reading (up to $25 credit) |
| Purple Garden | Ongoing messages with advisors you’ve read with, plus chat, voice and video readings | Live readings from $4.99/min typical | Up to $50 credit for a disappointing first session |
| Mysticsense | Readings by phone, web chat, SMS or video | Per-minute, $2.17/min typical | Time back up to 10 minutes within 48 hours |

Why Choose an Email Reading?
- A considered answer. The reader has time to sit with your question rather than answering on the clock.
- A fixed price. You know the cost upfront, instead of watching per-minute billing while you type.
- A written record you can come back to when things start to move.
- Any time zone, any schedule. No need to catch a popular reader while they’re online.
- Easier for hard topics. Many people find it easier to explain something painful in writing.
When live is better: if your situation has many moving parts, or you’ll want to ask follow-up questions as the reading unfolds, a live chat or call gives you that back-and-forth. Chat still leaves a transcript on Kasamba and Mysticsense. See best psychic chat sites.
Kasamba: Email Readings From Individual Advisors
On Kasamba, some advisors offer email readings alongside chat and phone, and set their own price. From the advisors we audited:
| Advisor | Email reading price | Live rate | Known for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Light4You | From $10 per question | Voice $4.99 · chat $5.99/min | 24 years on Kasamba (since 2002); 56,253 readings at 4.9; love and timing (“will he propose, and when”) |
| Sparks of Insight | $19.95 | $1.99/min | A perfect 5.0 across 54,146 readings since 2016; love and twin-flame questions |
| Rekindle HopesHearts Amena | From $21 | Chat $5.99/min | Long-arc love situations: reunions and slow-burn relationships |
| Zara Insights | From $35 | $8.99/min | Western, Vedic and Chinese astrology cross-checked; planning-grade love and career questions |
| Seek Love Clarity~RYAN | $70–$100 | Chat $10.99/min | Hard truths on love and specific-person questions, with an approach plan |
Not every Kasamba reader offers email; some prefer live chat because the transcript serves the same purpose. If a reader you like doesn’t list an email price, message them to ask, or book a short chat and keep the transcript.
Also on Kasamba: “Holistic Services” (personalised offline spiritual work such as meditations or prayers) can be ordered in the Kasamba app; advisors send written proof of work within 48 hours, and Kasamba’s help center says you get a full refund if they don’t deliver in that window.
Keen: Mail Readings
Keen’s Mail is a private messaging system between you and advisors (your real email address is never shared). According to Keen’s help center:
- Regular Mail is free, for simple messages and attachments.
- Paid Mail lets you send payment with your question, or pay to view an email an advisor sends you.
- Mail readings: “Some Keen advisors offer readings or answers to questions via Mail. Most will offer a price per question.” To request one, write to the advisor asking for the service.
- Turnaround is set by each advisor; Keen suggests allowing adequate time for a reply.
- Satisfaction Guarantee: if you’re unhappy with a Mail reading, you can request a credit within 72 hours of receiving the message (up to $25 in Keen credit, once every 30 days).
Why it’s a good option: Keen’s advisors have some of the longest track records online (the median advisor in our audit has been on Keen since 2006), and the guarantee covers written readings as well as live ones. More: is Keen legit? and best Keen psychics.
Purple Garden: Messaging Your Advisor
Purple Garden doesn’t sell email readings as a separate product, but after a reading you can keep messaging an advisor in the app; messages are an ongoing conversation with each advisor rather than tied to a single order, and its app listing describes messaging up to three times a day. It’s useful for a short follow-up after a live reading. Live readings run by chat, voice or video at a typical $4.99/min, and transcripts of eligible voice and video sessions may be available afterwards.
Mysticsense: SMS Readings
Mysticsense’s FAQ says readings can be done over the phone, through web chat or SMS, or by video call. SMS is a convenient middle ground: you text at your own pace, billed like a chat. Typical rates are low ($2.17/min). Our Mysticsense review is based on public profile data rather than paid readings.
How to Write a Question That Gets a Good Answer
Because you can’t clarify in real time, an email question needs to be complete. Use this template:
My name and date of birth: [first name, DD/MM/YYYY] The other person: [first name, and birth date if you know it] Context (2–3 sentences): [what happened and where things stand now] My question: [one clear question, with a timeframe] Anything else to look at: [optional second question, if the reading covers two]
Example:
My name and date of birth: Maria, 14/07/1992 The other person: Daniel, 03/02/1990 Context: We were together for two years and broke up in August. We’ve exchanged a few friendly messages since, but nothing about getting back together. My question: Is there a real chance we reconnect as a couple in the next three months, and what should I do in the meantime?
Tips:
- One main question per email. A focused question gets a deeper answer than five quick ones.
- Ask for a timeframe, so you can check the reading later.
- Confirm price, scope and turnaround before you pay.
- Pay through the platform, never directly to an advisor. Purple Garden’s terms, for example, forbid advisors from asking for your payment details, and paying on-platform keeps your guarantee.
- Save the reply with the date, and note any predicted windows.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which psychic sites offer readings by email?
Kasamba (advisors set an email-reading price; $10 a question to $100 in our audit) and Keen (Mail readings, usually priced per question, covered by its 72-hour guarantee). Purple Garden lets you keep messaging advisors you’ve read with, and Mysticsense offers SMS readings.
How much does an email psychic reading cost?
Usually a fixed price per question or per reading. Kasamba examples from our audit: $10 per question, $19.95, from $21, from $35, and $70–$100. On Keen, most Mail readings are priced per question.
Are email psychic readings as good as live readings?
They’re different: email gives a considered written answer at a fixed price; live chat or calls let you ask follow-ups in real time. Email suits one focused question.
How long does an email psychic reading take?
Each advisor sets their own turnaround, often the same day to a few days. Ask before you pay.
Can I get a refund on an email reading?
On Keen, request a Satisfaction Guarantee credit within 72 hours of receiving a Mail reading (up to $25 credit, once every 30 days). Elsewhere, check the platform’s guarantee and the advisor’s terms first. More: psychic site refunds compared.
What should I include in an email to a psychic?
Your first name and date of birth, the other person’s first name (and birth date if known), two or three sentences of context, and one clear question with a timeframe.
