The short answer: the best psychic app for most people in 2026 is Kasamba: it has the most App Store ratings of any psychic marketplace app (13,344, averaging 4.6★), it saves every chat reading as a transcript you can re-read, and its welcome offer makes a 20-minute first reading cost $42.42 at the typical rate. Choose Purple Garden if you want video readings (it’s the top-rated major app on the App Store at 4.8★), Keen if you’d rather talk by phone with very experienced readers, and Mysticsense if the lowest per-minute rate matters most.

Store ratings checked October 19, 2026 (iOS via Apple’s public App Store data; Android from each Google Play listing). Typical rate = median listed rate: Kasamba, Purple Garden and Keen from the 242 advisors we audited individually (data as of October 9, 2026); Mysticsense from our October 2026 platform review, based on public profile data, terms and offers. First-reading cost applies each platform’s welcome offer at that typical rate.
How We Ranked the Apps
An app is only as good as the readers inside it, so we combined what the stores tell you about the app with what our audits tell you about the advisors:
Read the full methodHide the method
- Store ratings, weighted by volume. A 4.7 from 9,000 ratings tells you far more than a 5.0 from two. We checked both stores, because iPhone and Android ratings often differ by a few tenths.
- Features that change the reading. Transcripts, video, call booking, alerts when a favourite reader comes online, and messaging between sessions.
- Cost of a real reading. The typical advisor’s per-minute rate on each platform, and what a 20-minute first reading costs with the welcome offer.
- The advisors behind the app. Kasamba, Purple Garden and Keen are audited advisor by advisor; Mysticsense is reviewed from public data.

The 4 Best Psychic Apps
#1 Kasamba — Best Psychic App Overall
iOS: 4.6★ from 13,344 ratings · Android: 4.5★ from 4.18K reviews, 500K+ installs · Rated 17+
Why it’s #1: Kasamba’s app has the largest body of ratings of any psychic-reading marketplace in the App Store, and it’s the highest-rated of the major platforms on Google Play. It’s built around live chat, and every chat reading is saved as a transcript in your account, which on a phone means you can scroll back through exactly what your reader said weeks later, when something actually happens.
What’s in the app: live chat and phone readings with psychics, tarot readers, astrologers and mediums; search by specialty (love, career, dreams, twin flames and more); the 3-free-minutes welcome offer is advertised right in the store listing.
The advisors: the typical Kasamba advisor in our audit charges $4.99/min, a quarter charge $2.99 or less, and the median advisor has been reading on Kasamba since 2007. Most charge less for chat than for phone, so the app’s chat-first design is also the cheaper way in.
First reading: 3 free minutes, then 50% off the rest of your first reading (up to $50 off): $42.42 for 20 minutes at the typical rate. Kasamba also offers up to $50 in credit if a first reading with a new advisor disappoints.

#2 Purple Garden — Best App for Video Readings
iOS: 4.8★ from 5,684 ratings · Android: 4.3★ from 1.55K reviews, 100K+ installs · Rated 17+
Why it’s #2: Purple Garden is the app that makes the most of being on a phone. It’s the only major platform with live one-to-one video readings, and every advisor profile has a short intro video, so you can see and hear a reader before you spend anything. It’s also the highest-rated of the major apps on the App Store.
What’s in the app (from its store listing): chat, voice and video readings; advisor intro videos; messaging your advisor up to three times a day after a reading ends; alerts the moment a favourite advisor comes online; photo sharing in chat; a “My Activity” history of every reading; and free daily, weekly and monthly horoscopes.
The advisors: typical rate $4.99/min across the 81 Purple Garden advisors we audited, with the middle half between $3.99 and $6.99, the tightest price range of the three audited platforms.
First reading: a $30 credit with your first purchase: $69.80 for 20 minutes at the typical rate, but the cheapest first reading of the three for a short question under about 10 minutes.

#3 Keen — Best App for Phone Readings
iOS: 4.7★ from 9,557 ratings · Android: 4.3★ from 3.43K reviews, 500K+ installs · Rated 17+ · Publisher: Ingenio, LLC
Why it’s #3: Keen’s app is the most mature of the group (on the App Store since 2015, version 12) and it’s built for people who’d rather talk. Its “Arrange a call” feature lets you book a time with an advisor who’s busy now, and live availability shows who’s free to take your call.
What’s in the app (from its store listing): smart search; live availability; arrange-a-call booking; a Best Match Quiz that suggests advisors from a few questions; messages from advisors between readings; ratings and reviews; and Keen Rewards points on every session. Keen’s listing cites 25+ years online and 45 million conversations.
The advisors: the most experienced we’ve audited (median advisor on Keen since 2006), at the highest typical rate of the four, $6.53/min.
First reading: your first 5 minutes for $1. That’s the cheapest way on any app to test one premium reader: with anyone charging more than about $6.20/min, it beats Purple Garden’s $30 credit. A full 20-minute first reading costs $98.95 at the typical rate. Keen’s satisfaction guarantee gives up to $25 in Keen Dollars if a reading disappoints, requested within 72 hours.

#4 Mysticsense — Best App for Low Rates
iOS: launched February 2026 (2 ratings so far) · Android: 4.1★ from 52 reviews, 10K+ installs
Why it’s #4: Mysticsense has by far the lowest typical rate on this list, $2.17/min in our October 2026 review, with 97% of advisors at $5/min or less, so it’s the app for longer or more frequent readings. Its apps are new and have few ratings yet, which is why it ranks below the three established apps.
What’s in the app: live chat and call readings, a “find your best match” feature, daily horoscopes, and the first-5-minutes-free offer in the store listing. Video is available with some advisors.
First reading: your first 5 minutes free, credited back after your first reading (with a first deposit of $10 or more; credit capped at $10 or $15 depending on the deposit): about $32.55 for 20 minutes at the typical rate.
Good to know: Mysticsense is run by Syncspert LTD, which also runs SpiritualBlossom. Our review is based on public profile data, terms and offers. More: Kasamba vs Mysticsense.
What about SpiritualBlossom?
We didn’t find a SpiritualBlossom app in the App Store. Its readings run in the mobile browser, which works fine for chat; it has the lowest typical rate of any platform we review ($1.98/min). See our SpiritualBlossom review.

What App Store Ratings Can and Can’t Tell You
Store ratings are a good signal of how smoothly an app works (logging in, paying, connecting to a reader, chat stability) and of overall satisfaction. They’re a weaker signal of which reader to pick, for two reasons:
- Apps prompt happy users to rate. That’s why almost every app in this category sits between 4.3 and 4.8. Rating volume and the gap between iOS and Android tell you more than the decimal.
- You choose the reader, not the app. The same app holds readers at $1.99 and at $39.99 a minute, with very different styles. The advisor’s own review history matters more than the app’s star average.
That’s why our ranking leans on advisor audits as much as store ratings. To shortlist readers rather than apps, the reader match suggests advisors across our audited platforms from a few quick questions.
The Wider Psychic-App Market
Plenty of other apps offer readings. For context, here’s how some of the most-rated ones score on the App Store. We haven’t audited the advisors on these platforms, so they’re not part of our ranking.
| App | Publisher | App Store rating | Ratings | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nebula: Spiritual Guidance | Spiritual Nebula Limited | 4.6★ | 170,867 | Horoscope and astrology app with readings |
| Sanctuary Psychic Reading | Sanctuary Ventures Inc | 4.8★ | 44,134 | Astrology-led app with chat readings |
| Astrotalk | Codeyeti Software Solutions | 4.8★ | 23,214 | Talk-to-an-astrologer app, India-focused |

Tips for Getting the Most From a Psychic App
- Shortlist on the website, read on the app. Comparing several advisor profiles is easier on a big screen; once you’ve picked, the app is the most convenient place for the reading itself.
- Turn on advisor alerts. Popular readers are often busy. Purple Garden’s alerts and Keen’s live availability tell you the moment a favourite reader is free.
- Use chat if you want a record. A chat reading leaves a transcript you can come back to; for a love question that’s often the most useful part.
- Use the welcome offer on the reader you most want. Offers apply to your first reading, so spend them on your first choice, not a test of the app.
- Set a budget before you start. Per-minute billing runs while you type, so it helps to have your question ready. Our cost calculator shows what a reading of any length costs on each platform.
