Are Keen and Kasamba the Same Company? Who Owns Keen, Kasamba and Purple Garden (2026)

Keen, Kasamba and Purple Garden all sit under Ingenio, LLC, a portfolio company of Alpine Investors. Kasamba joined in March 2023. This guide explains what the shared ownership means in practice: what is separate (readers, reviews, accounts, welcome offers, guarantees, prices), what the primary sources say, how the three compare in our audit of 242 advisor profiles, and which one fits which love question.

The short answer: yes and no. Keen and Kasamba have the same parent company, Ingenio, LLC. Kasamba joined it in March 2023, when LivePerson sold Kasamba to Ingenio. Ingenio also names Purple Garden as one of its lead U.S. brands. But the three run as separate sites: each has its own readers, reviews, customer accounts, prices, welcome offer and satisfaction policy. For a love reading, Kasamba suits most people who want to explain things in writing, Keen suits phone people, and Purple Garden suits people who want video.

This page sets out what the primary sources say, what the shared ownership changes for you (very little day to day), and how the three compare in our audit of 242 advisor profiles.

The key document is LivePerson’s press release of March 23, 2023, “LivePerson Divests Kasamba”. It says three things that answer most ownership questions:

  1. LivePerson sold Kasamba to Ingenio, LLC, described as “a portfolio company of Alpine Investors” and the owner of more than 30 marketplace and media platforms.
  2. LivePerson had owned Kasamba since 2007.
  3. Ingenio’s company description in the same release says it is headquartered in San Francisco and that its marketplaces are “led by Keen and Purple Garden in the U.S.”

Keen’s own footer and privacy policy (titled “Ingenio Privacy Policy” on Keen’s help center) confirm that Keen is run by Ingenio directly today.

What Is Separate (Almost Everything You Use)

Shared ownership sits at company level. For you as a customer, the three are separate services:

When a reading missesUp to $25 credit within 72 hours (guarantee)Up to $50 credit to try another advisorRefund request within 3 days of the order
Format it is built aroundPhoneChat, with permanent transcriptsVideo

Three practical points follow.

Reviews don’t travel. A reader’s 4.9 on one site tells you nothing about a profile on another. Judge each reader on the site where you’d book them.

Each welcome offer is advertised to that site’s own new customers. Keen’s, Kasamba’s and Purple Garden’s offers are listed separately on each site. Each site’s own terms decide eligibility when you sign up.

Credits stay where they are. Keen credit, Kasamba credit and Purple Garden credit are each spent on their own site.

On the satisfaction policies in the table: Keen’s guarantee can be used once every 30 days and pays out as Keen credit. Kasamba’s homepage promises “up to $50 in credits to try another advisor”. Purple Garden’s Terms of Use cap a refund at the value of the order and ask you to email support with the order date, time and advisor name.

How the Three Compare in Our Audit

We review advisors one by one on all three sites. As of October 2026 the audit covers 242 advisor profiles: 112 on Kasamba, 81 on Purple Garden and 49 on Keen. (How we audit.)

In our audit (Oct 2026)KasambaPurple GardenKeen

So the three are close on quality in our scoring. They differ more on price spread and format. Kasamba has the lowest lower-quarter rate in our sample, so budget chat readers are easy to find. Purple Garden is built around video. Keen’s audited readers list somewhat higher rates and come with long public review histories you can read before booking.

Since the companies are related, choose on format and fit, not on brand. A simple way to decide:

Are There Platforms Outside Ingenio?

Yes. Two platforms we review are run by a different operator:

  • Mysticsense: operated by Syncspert LTD (Tel Aviv), launched 2020, first 5 minutes credited back after the first reading.
  • SpiritualBlossom: same operator as Mysticsense, with deposit bonuses for new customers.

FAQs

Are Keen and Kasamba the same company?

They share a parent company but are run as separate platforms. Keen is operated by Ingenio, LLC. Kasamba was sold by LivePerson to Ingenio in March 2023 and is operated as Kasamba Inc. Each site has its own advisors, reviews, customer accounts, welcome offer and satisfaction policy.

Who owns Purple Garden?

Ingenio’s own company description (March 2023) names Purple Garden, together with Keen, as its lead marketplaces in the U.S. Purple Garden’s current Terms of Use (effective February 22, 2026) name Barges as the party that operates the service.

Who owns Ingenio?

Ingenio, LLC is a portfolio company of Alpine Investors, a private equity firm, according to LivePerson’s March 23, 2023 announcement of the Kasamba sale. The same release describes Ingenio as headquartered in San Francisco with more than 30 marketplace and media brands.

Do Keen and Kasamba share psychics?

No shared roster. Each site lists its own advisors, with its own ratings, review history and prices. A reader’s reviews on one site do not carry over to the other, so judge each profile on the site where you would book it.

Can I use the Keen and the Kasamba new-customer offers?

The two sites advertise their welcome offers separately, each for its own new customers: Keen 5 minutes for $1, Kasamba 3 free minutes plus 50% off the first reading (up to $50 off). Each site’s own terms decide eligibility when you sign up.

Which is better for a love reading, Keen or Kasamba?

Kasamba for most love questions you want to explain in writing: it is chat-first, keeps permanent transcripts and its roster is concentrated in love and relationship specialists. Keen if you prefer to talk on the phone and want to read a long public review history before booking. Purple Garden if you want to see the reader on video.
