Quick verdict: Kasamba is the best place for most people to start: a cheap, protected first reading with a permanent transcript. Purple Garden is best if you want to see the reader first. Mysticsense has the lowest typical rates of the big directories ($2.17/min median). PsychicOz has the broadest refund promise and one flat $2.99 rate. Keen has the deepest roster for finding a specific specialist, at the highest typical price. SpiritualBlossom is Mysticsense’s smaller sister site — worth it for a $40 first deposit or a shared advisor who is cheaper there.
| Rank | Platform | Our score | Welcome offer | Typical rate | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Kasamba | 4.9 | 3 free min + 50% off first reading (up to $50 off) | $4.99/min | Love questions, answers in writing |
| 2 | Purple Garden | 4.88 | $30 credit on first purchase | $4.99/min | Seeing the reader on video first |
| 3 | Mysticsense | 4.83 | First 5 minutes credited back | $2.17/min | Low-cost chat and phone readings |
| 4 | PsychicOz | 4.82 | 13 minutes for $9.99 | $2.99/min (flat) | Predictable cost, refundable readings |
| 5 | Keen | 4.8 | 5 minutes for $1 | $6.53/min | Finding one particular specialist |
| 6 | SpiritualBlossom | 4.62 | Deposit bonus up to +$25 | $1.98/min | Budget readings, $40 first deposit |
Typical rate = median listed rate: from our individual audits of 112 Kasamba, 81 Purple Garden and 49 Keen profiles; from public-directory pulls on October 9, 2026 for Mysticsense (all 1,034 profiles), PsychicOz (all 49 its directory surfaced) and SpiritualBlossom (131 of 373). The audited advisors on the first three were chosen as established readers, so their medians run higher than a full-directory figure would.
How We Ranked Them
We rank for the reader we hear from most: someone booking a first or second paid reading who wants to avoid wasting money. Five things decide that, roughly in this order:
- The first reading — what the welcome offer actually saves, and whether you can test an advisor before committing.
- The price after that — the typical per-minute rate once the offer is gone.
- What happens if a reading goes wrong — the written remedy, and whether it can be cash.
- Research and records — whether reviews can be trusted, and whether you keep a record of what was said.
- Choice — roster depth and formats (chat, phone, video, email).
| First reading | Price after | If it goes wrong | Research & records | Choice | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kasamba | Strong | Middle | Strong | Excellent | Good |
| Purple Garden | Good | Middle | Weak | Excellent | Good |
| Mysticsense | Strong | Excellent | Weak | Fair | Excellent |
| PsychicOz | Strong | Good | Excellent | Good | Limited |
| Keen | Fair | Weak | Fair | Excellent | Excellent |
| SpiritualBlossom | Good | Excellent | Weak | Fair | Limited |
No platform wins every column, which is why the ranking matters less than the situation guide at the end of this page.
What a 20-Minute Reading Costs on Each
Welcome offers are hard to compare as written (“3 free minutes,” “$30 credit,” “13 minutes for $9.99”). Here they are turned into dollars, for a 20-minute reading with an advisor at each platform’s typical rate:
| Platform (typical rate) | First reading, with the welcome offer | Any later reading |
|---|---|---|
| Kasamba ($4.99) | $42.42 — 3 free minutes, then 17 minutes at half price | $99.80 |
| Purple Garden ($4.99) | ~$69.80 — $99.80 of time less the $30 credit | $99.80 |
| Mysticsense ($2.17) | $32.55 — $43.40, with 5 minutes ($10.85) credited back | $43.40 |
| PsychicOz ($2.99) | $27.93 phone / $30.92 chat — $9.99 for 13 minutes, the rest at $2.99 | $56.81 phone / $59.80 chat |
| Keen ($6.53) | $98.95 — $1 for 5 minutes, then 15 at $6.53 | $130.60 |
| SpiritualBlossom ($1.98) | $29.60 — $20 deposit + $10 bonus, then $9.60 more | $39.60 |
PsychicOz phone readings start with a free connection minute. Purple Garden’s credit requires a first purchase (typically $10+) and expires if unused. Mysticsense’s credit-back is account balance, not cash, and is capped at $15. SpiritualBlossom’s bonus is non-refundable.
Two patterns stand out. Keen’s $1 offer is the cheapest way to start a reading but the most expensive way to finish one, because its typical advisor costs the most. And on Mysticsense, PsychicOz and SpiritualBlossom, the second reading costs about what the first reading costs elsewhere. If you expect to book more than once, the price-after column matters more than the welcome offer.
If a Reading Goes Wrong
| Platform | Written remedy | Cash possible? |
|---|---|---|
| PsychicOz | Any eligible paid reading reviewed within 48 hours: full or partial refund, credit or other resolution, no fixed cap | Yes |
| Kasamba | Up to $50 credit for a disappointing first session with a new advisor | No (credit) |
| Keen | Up to $25 in Keen Dollars, requested within 72 hours, once every 30 days | No (credit) |
| Purple Garden | Credit for verified technical problems, such as a dropped call | No (credit) |
| Mysticsense | Time-back credit, max 10 minutes, last paid reading only, within 48 hours | Unused deposits only |
| SpiritualBlossom | Time-back credit, max 10 minutes (and $35), last paid reading only, within 48 hours | Unused deposits only |
None of these platforms refunds a reading because you didn’t like the answer. The universal defense is the same everywhere: ask your real question in the first two minutes, and end the reading if the answer is generic. Where the free minutes come first (Kasamba, PsychicOz’s connection minute on calls), that test costs nothing.
Reviews and Records: Which Ones Can You Trust?
- Keen — client reviews cannot be deleted. The deepest research surface in the industry, and the reason Keen is still the place to vet a specialist.
- Purple Garden — the Journeys feed, where clients come back to say whether a prediction happened and advisors can’t edit or delete the posts, plus mandatory 60-second video intros.
- Kasamba — every chat saved permanently to your account, so you can check a prediction against the exact words later.
- PsychicOz — reviews tied to an identifiable reading; its policy says moderation won’t be used to hide genuine concerns. Stars still cluster at the top (median 5.0 in our sample).
- Mysticsense and SpiritualBlossom — shared, published moderation rules: vague complaints and refund-related reviews aren’t published. 64% of rated Mysticsense advisors sit at exactly 4.5 stars. Sort by review count, not stars.

How This Comparison Was Built
The Kasamba, Purple Garden and Keen figures come from our individual audits of 242 advisor profiles (112, 81 and 49), each reviewed on its own page. The Mysticsense, PsychicOz and SpiritualBlossom figures come from their public directories, collected logged-out on October 9, 2026: every Mysticsense profile (1,034), every PsychicOz profile its directory surfaced (49) and a 131-profile SpiritualBlossom sample (of 373). Policies were read in full on the same day. We have not yet run paid test readings on the three newer platforms, and each of their reviews says so. Rates change; check the advisor’s live rate before you book.
